Home services Roofing
Callingly's AI Agent calls each new roofing lead within seconds of the form or ad submission. It asks whether the job is a repair, a replacement or storm damage, whether water is coming in, and whether there's an insurance claim, then warm-transfers the homeowner to your estimator while they're still on the line. If nobody's free, it offers a callback at a time the homeowner picks.
A hail or wind event fills your inbox in an afternoon, on the same day your estimators are out on roofs. The office can't dial a hundred homeowners an hour, so the ones at the bottom of the list hear from another roofer first.
The AI Agent calls leads as they arrive and runs many calls at once, so a surge gets worked without waiting on the office to dial. Your estimators only get the homeowners who picked up and answered your questions.
A storm lead with an open claim and an adjuster visit next week is a different call from a homeowner pricing a re-roof for next spring. The AI Agent asks whichever of your questions the lead's form didn't already answer, and the answers are in the call's transcript and the rep's briefing before they say hello.
You write the qualifying questions, and the AI Agent asks the ones the lead’s form didn’t already answer. Here’s a starting set roofing companies use:
The answers land in the call’s transcript, and the rep hears them before the homeowner is put through. Our post on what an AI should ask web leads has more on picking questions a form didn’t already answer.
AI Agent Hi, is this Dana? This is Alex with Summit Roofing. You just asked us about a roof inspection. Is now a good time?
Homeowner Yeah. We had hail Tuesday and now there's a stain on the ceiling.
AI Agent Sorry to hear that. Is any water coming in right now?
Homeowner Only when it rains.
AI Agent Got it. Have you opened an insurance claim yet?
Homeowner Not yet.
AI Agent Okay. Let me get one of our estimators on the line. They can set up the inspection and walk you through the claim. One moment.
As soon as a lead reaches Callingly, the AI Agent calls the homeowner and can text in the same sequence. It only calls inside your call hours and between 8 AM and 9 PM in the lead’s time zone. It asks your qualifying questions, then warm-transfers the live homeowner to the available reps in your first priority group. If nobody there picks up, it tries the next group, then offers a callback at a time the homeowner picks. At that time, the AI Agent calls back and tries the transfer again.
If the homeowner doesn’t answer, the followup sequence keeps calling and texting on your schedule until it runs out. Every AI call keeps a recording and a transcript.
Website forms, Facebook Lead Ads and most CRMs connect directly or through Zapier, Make or a webhook. Buying shared leads? Here’s how to send Angi leads and Networx leads to the AI Agent. Everything else is on the integrations page.
It calls leads as they land and runs many calls at once, which is far faster than an office can dial. There are two limits. Your account has a cap on simultaneous AI calls, and when it's reached the next call is retried a few minutes later. And only so many estimators can take a transfer at once, so set up priority groups and let the AI Agent offer callbacks when everyone is on a call.
Only as far as you tell it to. It asks your questions and answers from the facts you give it. Most roofers have it ask whether there's a claim and leave the claim itself to an estimator.
Callingly doesn't connect to them directly. If your roofing CRM can send new leads through Zapier, Make or a webhook, those leads can reach the AI Agent. The transfer and the callback still happen by phone, so your team books the inspection in the tool they already use.
